Coachella

Valley music, and arts festival filled with artist that you listen to everyday perform for nine days in California. Yes i'm talking about Coachella. Most people don't really know where the name Coachella comes from.

“I really don't know what Coachella means I just hear it was a festival that is really expensive” stated Lauren Julian.

Coachella was supposed to be called “conchilla” according to Coachella.com/forum.

They stated that “Conchilla was going to be the original name, but someone accidently named it Coachella”. The original name was symbolizing shells in the dirt. Concha in spanish means shells.

This type of festival is only once a year. According to Time.com they stated that the least amount to pay is $399. That doesn’t really stop people, because back in 2017 198,000 tickets were sold. If the tickets were much cheaper there would be more people of course. Oh but don’t forget that $399 is only admission. It’s worth it to see multiple celebrities at one place at the same time.

“ The celebrities that I remember performing were Beyoncé, Cardi B, and Ariana Grande etc.” said Nydia Williams.

Multiple people had different opinions on how the celebrities performed at Coachella. According to people.com they stated that she has been receiving wishes for celebrities like Rihanna and Cardi B stated that the wishes are overwhelming. Some people didn't like that she was dancing/ twerking while pregnant.

Beyoncé performed and it was marvelous! After she had her twins she still danced and sang l like it wasn’t no tomorrow. She sung some of her old singles like from her album in 2011, and new songs like some from her Lemonade album in 2016. She knows how to keep the crowd entertained and engaged. She also had some special guests on stage like her sister Solange, the Les twins,her old group Destiny's child, and her beloved husband Jay Z.

History was made at Coachella 2018 believe it not. Beyoncé was the very first woman of color to headline the music festival in Indio,California according to CNN.com.

Coachella isn’t just hip-hop it’s all types of genres of music, including Rock, indie, and electronic dancing.

According to sliptalk.com “Coachella is a very small city. With only 40,000 residents. Once the festivals hit a small place then the police are already prepared to arrest anyone. For example in 2013 the police arrested 90 people during the third day of the festival”.

“I thought the Coachella was going to be on TV. I was waiting to see it” Williams said.

Coachella was actually lived streamed off YouTube or you could buy the tickets. There were multiple post going around on social media like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. Coachella is a huge event that only comes around only one time a year. So when it’s that time of the year don’t forget to purchase tickets.

FLYING CARS

Flying cars.

the future you are going to see cars in the air. Sadly this is what technology does to Have you heard on the news that there are going to be flying cars. Well in us. Some people are looking forward to this. I'm not looking forward to this new dramatic change in the world. I feel like there are going o be some problems that will occur, due to flying. Not everyone can fly a plane so how will people be able drive a car something people use more often the planes. There is a car already out Tesla. Its build to fly. Also the doors go up and have a outer space look to it to me. I don't support flying cars at all. People die every day from car crashes,So to add flying is more trickier. Although i feel as if it would take years to get this whole change down pack i think it's still a bad idea.

Robot jobs.

There is a video of a robot in Justin Timberlake's Music video. This scares me a bit. This robot could be our future. How are humans supposed to have a job and pay there dues if a robot is doing all the work? Also this is similar to having cars drive by there self. There is either a system or a machine taking care of you. Are you willing to have a robot take your life in hands? These could be life or death situations.What if you get food poisoning from something you ate at a restaurant and you can sue anyone because it a robot so you'll be clueless. I can't trust robots i believe that we should just stick to our own human services instead of depending on Robots to do the

DREAM

Once upon a time there was girl named Ella. She was looking at the news the all a sudden she hears a newscaster say "There is a storm coming around you! Called Ella”. Ella was very amazed that the storm was named after her. She has never experienced anything like it. Ella went outside then say the clouds building up. They were dark and huge the winds started picking up the trees started rustling and Ella hair was blowing in the win she didn't know what to do. Ella is only 10 she is home alone while her mom ran to the corner store. She went back in the house and called her mom to hurry. “Hey mom where are you there's a storm coming, and you need to get here quick”! Ella said anxiously. After the phone call Ella dropped he phone. She stayed looking puzzled in the middle of he floor. There was this reen bright light shooting into her window. She tried avoiding it by moving backwards. Then she couldn't go any further back so the door swung open…….There was an GREEN ALIEN. Ella wiped her eyes ,because she thought it wasn't real. Ella loved Aliens though so she joined them in their spaceship. She was amazed it looked like a castle in the inside. There was a glass chandelier. Ella said she felt like this spaceship was waiting for her.The aliens don't talk they just served her and did whatever she wanted. If you could get what you want i think you'll stay to. Then all a sudden Ella heard her mom's voice. It sounded far away but then gradually became closer. Ella woke up her dream was over. Then this time when her mom actually need to go the store Ella stayed home to hope the spaceship in her dream will appear.
